Overview

The Skills Swap UI Kit is a comprehensive Flutter component library designed for skill-exchange marketplace apps. It includes a design system with consistent color tokens, typography scale, spacing system, and 30+ custom widgets covering onboarding screens, skill cards, user profiles, chat bubbles, rating widgets, and more — all supporting both Material 3 dark and light themes.

Key Contributions

  • Built a full design token system using Flutter ThemeExtensions — colors, typography, spacing all in one place.

Results

A great exercise in API design for widgets. The constraint of making every widget self-contained and theme-aware forced cleaner composition patterns than typical app development.
